Composite veneer restorations are treatments with high aesthetic expectations that require correct case selection, appropriate material choice, and precise clinical application. Despite applying similar techniques, some cases yield successful long-term results, while others experience aesthetic and functional problems in the early stages.

In this session, the critical clinical factors determining the success and failure of composite veneers will be discussed in the light of scientific data and clinical case examples. The impact of case selection, preparation boundaries, adhesive protocol, composite resin properties, layering strategies, occlusion, and finishing-polishing stages on the long-term performance of the restoration will be evaluated in detail.

Common mistakes in cases resulting in failure will be analyzed; what needs to be considered to achieve predictable, aesthetic, and long-lasting results in the clinic will be discussed clearly and practically.

The aim is to provide participants with clinical awareness and decision-making skills to achieve scientifically based, predictable, aesthetically, and functionally acceptable results in composite veneer restorations.
