BONE AUGMENTATION STRATEGIES IN ORAL IMPLANTOLOGY
The topic of Bone Augmentation Strategies in Oral Implantology focuses on creating and maintaining a suitable bone structure for dental implants. Studies in this area involve the use of various biomaterials and techniques.
Bone augmentation strategies are generally based on understanding bone structure and healing. This includes bone cells, bone types, bone formation models, and bone remodeling processes; additionally, classifications related to alveolar bone are also important in this context.
Bone grafts are a significant part of these strategies. The biology of bone grafts includes the concepts of osteogenesis (bone formation), osteoinduction (biological process promoting bone formation), and osteoconduction (providing a framework that supports bone formation).
In conclusion, bone augmentation strategies in oral implantology involve the use of various techniques and materials aimed at optimizing bone structure and function to enhance the success of implants. In this presentation, current techniques will be discussed comparatively with case examples.
