"Peri-Implant Soft Tissue Shaping and Clinical Tips for Long-Term Success"
In today's dentistry, dental implants are the most common method used to replace lost teeth. Although scientific studies report survival rates of up to 98% for dental implants over a 10-year period, this rate dramatically decreases when evaluated in terms of success. Therefore, it is emphasized that the important criterion in oral implantology should be evaluated as success rather than survival. In this training program, clinical tips for long-term success will be discussed step by step on clinical cases from surgery to final prosthetic restoration. Following the theoretical presentation, a workshop will be organized on the importance of peri-implant soft tissue, emergence profile creation technique, and soft tissue management on a model. Thus, the information from the theoretical presentation will be reinforced with practical application on the model, and the training will be completed by answering participants' questions.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elçin Bedeloğlu Biography
Graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2007 and was accepted into the Doctorate program at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Oral Implantology in the same year. Completed her doctorate in 2014 by defending her thesis titled "Histological and Histomorphometric Analysis of the Effect of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor on Early Bone Tissue Growth in an Experimental Mouse Model." Since 2014, she has been a faculty member at Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and received the title of Associate Professor in 2023. She continues her work in the same department. She gives conferences and courses both domestically and internationally, especially on "Guided Bone Regeneration," "Immediate Implantation and Immediate Loading," "Open and Closed Sinus Lifting," "Aesthetic Implantology in the Anterior Region," and "Augmentation and Reconstruction Methods in Jaw Bones." She has two different surgical techniques and a suture method named after her surname. She has more than 20 articles and book chapters published in national and international journals in the field of maxillofacial surgery and implantology. She is married and has one son and one daughter.
