PROFESSIONALIZATION IN CLINIC MANAGEMENT; 13 GOLDEN METHODS

In the last 30 years, revolutionary developments have occurred in the dental profession due to technological innovations and increased awareness among our patients. As practitioners, regardless of how we provide healthcare services, the impact of in-clinic management within the scope of these services is beyond what is perceived.

To achieve long-term success in clinics and create a work environment that adds value for ourselves and our team, we must enhance our managerial skills and implement certain principles. By incorporating these systems, which include many details from establishing corporate culture to building the right team, from effective patient communication to monitoring financial analyses, into our practice, we can reach our highest performance as a team, professionalize, and standardize the quality of services we offer.

In this presentation, the managerial processes supporting successful dental practices will be explained through the concept of 13 Golden Methods.

DR. KÜBEL İLTAN ÖZKUT

Graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1996.

Completed a master's program focused on "Healthcare Management" in the English Business Administration Master's program at Yeditepe University in 2003 and a master's program on "Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry and Digital Dentistry" at Siena University in 2020. He provides training on the "13 Golden Methods" concept he developed for clinic management and participates as a speaker at international congresses.

Currently teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Siena University (Italy) Faculty of Dentistry. He also teaches "Healthcare Management" at Istanbul Acıbadem University SMYO.

Since 2009, he has been focusing on aesthetic dentistry, advanced restorative treatments, digital dentistry, and implant-supported prostheses in his clinical practice at Acıbadem Maslak Hospital, where he also works as a clinic manager.

He is the president of the Aesthetic Dentistry Academy Association (EDAD).

He is the scientific committee secretary of EADD (European Academy of Digital Dentistry), and an active member of EAO (European Association of Osseointegration) and ESCD (European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry).
