Direct Composites in Anterior Aesthetics: From Simple to Complex Applied Clinical Scenarios
Anterior composite restorations are procedures frequently encountered in daily clinical practice and require technical sensitivity. This hands-on training program we have prepared aims to convey the current clinical protocols needed to achieve aesthetic and functional results step by step and transparently. The simulation of the patient treated in the hands-on course will be performed on a model.

Content and Focus Points of the Training
In this full-day program, practical applications will be conducted on the three most common scenarios encountered in the clinic following the basic principles:

Theoretical Foundation
Anterior tooth anatomy, optical properties of materials, and correct usage protocols of current adhesive systems.

Scenario 1 (Diastema Closure): Principles of rubber dam application for moisture control, calculation of correct proportions, creation of gingival emergence profile, and functional contours.

Scenario 2 (Class IV / Corner Fracture): Case analysis, preparation of palatal silicone key, and restoration with the layering technique.

Scenario 3 (Direct Veneer and Polishing): Direct composite veneer applications, processing of macro/micro anatomy (surface texture), and standardized polishing stages.

Objective of the Training
This program, with its structure progressing from "simple to complex," offers participants the opportunity to put theoretical knowledge into practice. Our main goal is to ensure that participants can comfortably apply predictable and standardized treatment procedures in their clinics the next day.

09:15 – 09:30 Opening Welcome speech and presentation of the training objective
09:30 – 10:30 Theoretical Foundations

  • Anterior tooth anatomy and optical properties
  • Structure and properties of composite restorative materials
  • Adhesion (Focus on current adhesive systems and clinical protocols)

10:30 – 10:45 Coffee Break

10:45 – 13:00 1st CLINICAL SCENARIO: MIDLINE DIASTEMA (Hands-on)

  • Case analysis, material and color selection
  • Preparation and use of palatal silicone key
  • Prevention of moisture contamination (Video explanation of rubber dam application principles)
  • Diastema closure technique and determination of proportions
  • Creation of functional and aesthetic contour (Embrasures, gingival emergence profile)

13:00 – 13:45 | Lunch Break

13:45 – 15:45 | 2nd CLINICAL SCENARIO: CORNER FRACTURE / CLASS IV (Hands-on)

  • Use of manipulation and layering technique
  • Creation of mamelon structures and incisal halo

15:45 – 16:00 Coffee Break

16:00 – 18:00 3rd CLINICAL SCENARIO: DIRECT VENEER AND POLISHING (Hands-on)

  • Direct Veneer application and covering of the vestibular surface
  • Creation of macro anatomy
  • Processing of secondary and tertiary anatomy (micro anatomy / surface texture)
  • Achieving perfect polishing step by step
  • Closure, Q&A, and general evaluation
